Sun oriented Impulse group arranges sun powered fueled satellite
The group behind the record-breaking Solar Impulse 2 plane is hoping to saddle the airplane's innovation for another sun oriented fueled satellite.
"One of the conceivable spinoffs is to create an unmanned Solar Impulse to fly 20 kilometers [12.4 miles] high in the stratosphere," Solar Impulse Chairman Bertrand Piccard told FoxNews.com amid a meeting in New York. "It's to give modest satellite to Wi-Fi, GSM associations, perception for agribusiness – our specialists are chipping away at that now."
